ep. 433

Ep. 433

Brian is on the computer in his room. Mellisa walked up behind him. "What are you doing?" she asked. "You know my mom's boyfriend, Blaine?" Brian said. "Of course." "I don't know... I might be just crazy but I think there's something weird about him," Brian explained. "I thought you liked him?" Mellisa asked. "Yeah, but sometimes it seems like he's hiding something so I got some help and I hacked into this system and I'm going to look him up," Brian told her. "Who helped you hack into this? It looks complex." "Well, it is. That's not the point though," Brian said. He started typing in 'Blaine Winthrall' and then hit enter. One page of results came up. On it was only three names. "How are you going to narrow it down?" Mellisa asked. "I know where he lives," Brian said typing more. After he typed in the address, he hit enter. The page showed zero results. "Maybe he still has it at his old address," Mellisa said. "Yeah, true," Brian said. He hit some keys and then said, "Let's do it the old fashioned way. We'll just look at the profiles. They have the pictures and we'll probably easily eliminate all but one." Mellisa nodded. She pulled a chair up and sat down. "Wait! This third one is dead," she said to him. He turned and looked at her. "This is going to be easy." He clicked on the first guy. He had tattoos all over his arms. "Blaine doesn't have tattoos," Brian said. "Well, I guess you've found your guy," Mellisa said smiling. Brian clicked on the other guy. He narrowed his eyebrows, "This guy is only 20." "So there is no Blaine Winthrall in the United States," Mellisa said. "Well, then who is the Blaine Winthrall my mom is dating?" Brian asked. Mellisa looked at the screen, "I have no idea." Brian went back to the page of results and clicked on the last guy, the dead guy. "This sounds almost just like him," Brian said. "Are you serious?" "Yeah." "Wow," Mellisa said. "I'm so confused," Brian said. "Why don't you just look up his address without the name part?" Mellisa said shrugging. "Good idea." Brian hit back and typed some more when he hit enter only one result appeared. "Blake Monroe?" Mellisa asked. "What?" "Try it again. That can't be right." Brian tried it again and again and again but each time the page brought back only one result and that was that the house was currently owned by a man by the name of Blake Monroe.
