big red's party!!
amanda spotted big red. "miles, let's go tell him happy birthday," she whispered. she'd already started leading the way before he'd even answered. she waved at him. he was talking to another girl. amanda smiled and said, "there's the birthday boy." she went around the other girl and kissed him and said, "happy birthday. thanks for inviting us!" the girl that was there first starting walking away. "i'll talk to you later tonight, okay?" big red said to her. "sorry we interrupted," miles said. "there went my chances for getting laid," big red said smiling. amanda rolled her eyes, "i'm sure you'll be able to find a slut somewhere." big red pretended to look around and then he turned back to her, "yep, one's talking to me right now." "well, i guess it looks like tonight it'll be just you and your hand." "you mean me and your hand?" he asked. miles cleared his throat. big red laughed, "i was only messing around." "yeah, i know." "i hope you have a good night, big red, and miles says happy birthday," amanda said smiling. "yeah, happy birthday." "god, he gets under my skin," miles said when they were out of earshot. "why? he's just a flirt, miles. it's not like he only does that to me. he does that to everyone," amanda told him. "whatever. i still don't like him." miles spotted dommy. "and i like him even less." "dommy!" amanda said happily. she started towards him quickly, leaving miles behind. miles walked to the kitchen. he spotted kathryn pouring something into a red cup. "hey, how's your night going?" "uhm.. so far, pretty boring. i'm not exactly the best of friends with these people," she said. "yeah, i know exactly how you feel. i basically hate them all." kathryn laughed, "i'm sure amanda's enjoying it though." miles nodded. "i've been in here all night pretty much just texting." "looks like i'll be in here with you for a while," he said as he looked through to the living room where amanda and dommy were headed upstairs. "what do you think they're doing?" kathryn asked. "i would say probably nothing really, but i don't exactly think that'd be the correct answer," miles told her. kathryn laughed, "maybe they really aren't doing anything." miles shrugged, "maybe."
