on the way to destin!

Everyone settled into the SUV they'd be taking to Destin. With Big Red in the driver's seat, Mellisa in the passenger's seat, and Lauren and Brian in the backseat, they took off. "How long exactly will it take us to get to Destin?" Big Red asked. He was wanting to make sure he'd be able to drive the whole way. Mellisa was the one who responded, "A little over four hours if you go 60." "That's not that bad. We should be there by about 2 then. We'll all get to go to sleep and then wake up at least a little rested," Big Red said. Mellisa was about to reply when loud laughter came from the backseat. Mellisa turned around and Big Red looked in the mirror to see what was going on. Lauren was doubled over laughing and Brian was trying to shush her but failing to do so because of his own laughter. Mellisa looked at Jerrett and he rolled his eyes and Carlos only shrugged. When Mellisa turned back around, Big Red looked at her for some explanation but she only shrugged her shoulders and continued their conversation. "Anyway, if we don't wake up until 8 that gives us six hours of sleep. We can all handle that easily." "Yeah, and I might go over sixty sometimes so-" Big Red was cut off again by laughter. This time it came from everyone in the backseat, including Jerrett and Carlos. Big Red sighed, "It's going to be a long ride, I guess." Mellisa laughed, "I'm thinking you're right." "I say for putting up with this we get to pick rooms first," Big Red said, nodding to the backseat. "I'm going to have to second that." "Who are you going to room with anyway?" he asked. Mellisa shrugged, "I'm not sure. There's not an even number of guys and girls so I don't know what'll happen. What about you? Who do you think you'll room with?" "I don't know at all. I think that Lauren kind of wants to room with Brian and he think he definitely wants to room with her so I guess I'm stuck with Carlos." Mellisa sighed, "You can room with me, if you'd like?" "No, you want to be with Jerrett so you be with him." Mellisa smiled, "Maybe Amanda will decide she's lonely and come running to you." She playfully hit him in the shoulder and he made a show of swerving. This sent him and Mellisa into laughter and left everyone in the backseat wondering not only why they'd swerved but what was so funny. A few minutes later, Mellisa gathered herself together and spoke, "I wasn't just offering you to room with me out of pity; I was really serious. If you want to, the offer stands." Big Red didn't respond for a while, "I'm thinking that you're going to really want Jerrett is why I'm not going to accept. That doesn't mean I won't visit though." Mellisa nodded. Big Red checked the rearview mirror and found that the entire backseat was immersed in some kind of a game they'd come up with. He mouthed for Mellisa to look back there. She did and saw Jerrett tossing a coin. Lauren and Carlos shook their heads in obvious loss and Jerrett got in Lauren's face and said, "Aha!" Mellisa just turned away and shook her head, "Kids." Big Red chuckled, "I'm definitely demanding we have first choice for our rooms." Mellisa smiled in agreement.


In the backseat, their game was long over and they were all starting to get bored just looking out the windows. "Want to play Truth or Dare?" Jerrett suggested. Everyone quickly stated their agreement. "I go first," Jerrett said. "Lauren, truth or dare?" "Dare." "I dare you to kiss me." "Oh, that's not even fair. Is it fair to involve yourself in the dare?" she asked. "Anyone oppose me involving myself in the dare?" Jerrett asked. Lauren looked to find that no one was agreeing with her. She shot Brian an I-will-kill-you-later-for-this-look. She climbed over the people separating them and kissed Jerrett. He pushed his tongue into her mouth and then Lauren pulled out. "You're a whore, Jerret, you know that?" He smiled, "Your turn." She rolled her eyes. "Carlos, truth or dare?" "Dare." Lauren paused, thinking up a good dare. "I dare you to call Amanda and then just make groaning noises the whole time and then hang up." Brian laughed, "Oh, that's clever." Carlos pulled out his cell phone and proceeded with the dare. When he was done he turned to Lauren and said, "Are you happy?" Only she nor no one else could answer because they were all laughing so hard. "My turn. Lauren, truth or dare?" "Truth." "Way to be a pussy, Lauren!" he said. Lauren rolled her eyes, "Whatever. What is it?" Carlos took a moment to think. "If the car was burning and you could only save one, would you save the person on your left, or the person on your right?" Lauren looked to her left and found Brian and then on her right was Carlos. "What the fuck? How am I even supposed to do that?" "It's called the truth," Carlos said. "Okay, okay. I'd save Brian. I've known him longer and I think I owe him some loyalty." "Oh, so I get to die over here. Thanks for that one," Carlos said. Jerrett laughed, "Lauren, your turn." "Okay, Jerrett, truth or dare?" she asked. "Dare." "I dare you to remove whatever item of clothing that Carlos chooses." "I'm dead over here. I can't choose anything," Carlos said. "Oh, what's that? I can't hear you because you're dead," Brian said laughing. "Do you want a tit to suck on?" Lauren asked. "Yours preferably," Carlos said smiling. Lauren rolled her eyes, "I didn't hear that because I can't hear dead people." "Strange that you're talking to one then," Carlos said. "Just shut up and tell him an item of clothing." "Fine, shirt." Jerrett laughed and pulled off his shirt. "Hey, no getting naked back there!" Mellisa said. "Party pooper," Jerrett mumbled.
