Lauren walked into Mellisa's room to find her sitting on top of Mark. She tried to hold in a laugh, "You two be good." Lauren closed the door and Mellisa smiled, "Where were we?" "I was asking you if you wanted to take a little dip in the pool outside. "It's closed by now," Mellisa said. Mark shrugged and smirked. Mellisa laughed, "Oooh. I'd love to." "Go get changed in the bathroom," Mark told her. "Do I have to?" she asked. Mark hesitated, "It's your place. You can do whatever you want to, I guess." Mellisa smiled and pulled out her swimsuit.

She looked at him and then at the bathroom. "I'll change in the bathroom," she said. When she came out a few minutes later, she was holding the strings to her top in her hands. "Can you tie this?" she asked. "Yeah, sure," Mark said getting up and starting to tie it. Once he finished, he patted her back. "Good?" "Good," Mellisa said smiling and turning around. Mark pulled off his shirt and pants. "Ready?" he asked. Mellisa nodded. They snuck around the building, laughing and shushing each other before they finally reached the pool. Mark climbed on top of it and looked around, motioning for Mellisa to come up. She climbed up the fence and sat by Mark. "Slowly climb down," Mark said softly. Mellisa just nodded, already beginning. They both hit the ground with a light clatter. "Shhh!" Mark said. "Sorry," Mellisa whispered. They both walked to the edge of the pool. Mark shoved Mellisa in. She hit with a splash. "What the hell, Mark?" she yelled. "Shut up!" Mark said back. "God," Mellisa said wiping water from her eyes. Mark jumped into the pool and Mellisa swam away from him. "I'm mad at you," she said. Mark finally caught up with her in a corner of the pool and wrapped his arms around her waist. He pulled her in closer to him and just let her stay there before he said anything. "I'm sorry, Mellisa. Forgive me?" he asked, breathing in her ear. She just nodded and he smiled, "Good." That's when they heard a voice coming from beyond the fence and getting closer and closer. They heard the person unlock the fence and they both went underwater. The person shined the light around. "Probably just some animal out her howling, nothing big." Mellisa and Mark listened until the footsteps got farther and farther away. "Let's get out of here," Mark said, coming up to the surface. He swam to the side of the pool and climbed out, Mellisa following closely behind him. They both made a cold run back to Mellisa's apartment. Once inside, they both fell out on her bed. "That was crazy," Mark said. "It was your idea." "I know."
